I was bored tonight and decided to take a trip to Target. I knew I was going purchase the cereal for the great $5 giftcard de, but I ended up picking up a few more items for cheap!
The cereal deal is when ypu purchase 5 participating General Mills cereal at $2.50 each, you get a $5 giftcard! I eat cereal a lot, so I knew I had sone great coupons to go with the deal! I had a $1/1 coupon for each box except for the peanut butter toast crunch cereal. I had a $1.25/1 for that one. I also had a $1/3 Target coupon. So the total for just the cereal was $6.25, or $1.25 after consodering the $5 gift card! I’m happy with paying a quarter a box!
The 4-pack of Colgate was on clearance for $2.98, so no coupon was needed to get each box at $0.75 each. The Colgate Total toothpaste was on clearance for $2.12 and I used a $1/1 Target coupon, so $1.12 for each. A little more than I would pay at a dollar store, but they are the larger sized tubes so it was worth it for me!
Last was the cups of Chef Boyardee beef ravioli. They were on sale for $0.89 each. I had a coupon for $0.50/4 as well as a $1/4 Target coupon, so they ended up being $0.51 each. Yum yum!
My final total was $13 71, or $8.71 after the $5 giftcard! I plan on recycling that $5 giftcard to buy more cereal! I love being able to do deals like this!
